In this one session class you will learn about the secret capabilities of two of the most used sites on the internet, Google and Yahoo!
For example, did you know that you can enter the model number of a DVD player and Google will return a list of reviewsof the product and the stores that carry the product?
While Yahoo! is a directory (and not a search engine), did you know that this company also offers auctions, e-mail services, and instant messaging?
We will discuss these topics and many, many more.

In this two session class we will discuss both buying and selling on ebay.

In this class you will learn all about Usenet, a part of the Internet that most people don't even know exsists. We will also explore web sites that offerplaces where artists can make their music available to the world at no cost to you!

This class is a little technical in nature. You will need to have a working knowledge of downloading files from the Internet, media players, and file management tools. |
